Note from Nina’s Night Out Founder Nina Radetich Welcome to the Nina’s Night Out web site! My name is Nina Radetich,
and I’m an anchor/reporter at Channel 13 Action News. I’ve
been involved with The Rape Crisis Center for over 7 years now. It’s
an amazing organization that helps sexual assault victims on their road to becoming
survivors. Their work is very important in this community, not just helping
clients after the crime, but also working to spread a message of prevention.
Nina’s Night Out is The Rape Crisis Center’s biggest fundraiser of
the year, and 2008 is going to be our best year yet! Please mark your calendar
for September 18, 2008 at the Palms Casino Resort. We look forward to seeing

It's the 5th annual Nina’s Night Out on
Thursday, September 18, 2008 at The Pearl, Palms Concert Theater.
The annual fundraiser will feature multi-platinum singer/songwriter
Jessica
Simpson who will perform tracks from her soon-to-be released
new country-format album, along with some of her popular favorites. Press

A VIP cocktail reception at Moon nightclub, inside the Palms Fantasy
Tower, will precede the concert from 5:00p.m. – 7:30p.m., which
will include an appearance by Jessica Simpson, cocktails, hors d’oeuvres,
both a silent and live auction, and goodie bags.

The Delgado Dancers and Musicians will provide a pre-show
consisting of a few nostalgic pieces of American dancing history
and culminating with some classy yet spicy ballroom. The Delgado
Musicians are an eight piece set complete with singers that will
supply fun musical numbers such as Sing Sing Sing, Ran Kan Kan, and
a couple modern pieces. The Delgado Dancers first present World War
II era, Swing Kids the movie-style dancing with a dash of Fred Astaire,
followed by a hip-shaking mambo reminiscent of the days of Ricky
Ricardo. The pre-show will close with a Cha Cha number and a Dancing
with the Stars-like number to fun, familiar, modern music. Then entire
pre-show runs 10-12 minutes with a maximum strike time of 8 minutes.
